In Greek mythology, the Rod of Asclepius also known as the Staff of Asclepius is a serpent-entwined rod wielded by the Greek god Asclepius, a deity associated with healing and medicine. The symbol has continued to be used in modern times, where it is associated with medicine and health care.
Asclepius Training, LLC is a mobile training center that was started in March 2013 as a dream and a passion. The company trains and certifies healthcare professionals, military personnel, law enforcement, and the lay person. The company is owned and ran by Fernando Nino Jr who is a nationally certified instructor. There are also two other instructors on the staff roster. The training center has a total of 31 years of total teaching experience and numerous nationally recognized instructor certifications. The organizations associated with the certifications are: American Heart, American Safety and Health Institute, and National Association of EMTs.
In this field knowledge is important and the field is changing every day. Keeping up on your skills is very important not only to you but your patients. That is why here at Asclepius Training we strive to give the most up-to-date information and materials that are available. Through high quality instructors that go through a testing process to ensure they are up-to-date on their skills and knowledge. To ensure that our instructors have the most up-to-date certifications through continuing education and are given a performance review yearly. To ensure that the school has the most up-to-date equipment available for our students to use. So you the provider, feel comfortable you have the proper training to provide the most appropriate care to your patients without question. I myself am very proactive in keeping up with my training and I will instill this in my instructors and students. So that I know I did my job and feel comfortable we are providing quality providers for our communities.
ABLS Provider Course
The Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Provider Course is an eight-hour course for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, and paramedics. The course provides guidelines in the assessment and management of the burn patient during the first 24 hours post injury.
